Welcome, Head Coach Brookshire!

A new face will be leading the Issaquah Eagles football program on the sidelines this fall.

Issaquah High School is excited to announce that Joshua Brookshire will be the new Head Football Coach!  Coach Brookshire comes to Issaquah High School from The College of Idaho with 9 years of coaching experience at both the college and high school levels.

At the College of Idaho, he coached Cornerbacks for two seasons, coordinated team camps and worked in football operations for the #22 ranked NAIA program in the country. Prior to his time at the college, Coach Brookshire coached at Caldwell High School in Caldwell Idaho for 6 seasons.    

 

Coach Brookshire earned a bachelor’s degree in Math and Physics with minors in Education and History from the College of Idaho and finishes his master’s degree in Kinesiology and Sport Management this August.

Prior to becoming a football Coach, he spent 10 years on active duty in the United States Navy, which sent him all over the world.

 

He and his amazing wife Katie have been together for 10 years and have two sons, Aeden (13) and William (4). Coach Brookshire looks forward to the challenge and opportunity of improving the on-the-field success while maintaining the high academic standards of Issaquah High School.
